McGarry Motors is a family-owned used car and van dealer based in Portrush, serving the North Coast for over 15 years. As the first dealer to adopt Motoplus, our own stock management platform, they've seen firsthand how much easier listing, enquiries, and marketing can be when the tools are built specifically for independent dealers.
McGarry Motors, a family-owned used car and van dealer based in Portrush, had been serving the North Coast for over 15 years. Like many independent dealers, they were frustrated with the premium prices charged by car listing platforms and had no proper solution of their own for listing stock, managing enquiries, or handling finance applications efficiently.
We’ve looked after McGarry Motors website for the last 7 years, building out a platform for listing vehicles and taking finance applications. In 2026, that ongoing relationship led to the development of Motoplus a dedicated stock management platform built specifically for car dealers. McGarry Motors became one of the first to adopt it, using the easy listing wizard to add stock in minutes (just enter the registration and Motoplus handles the rest). The platform also organises enquiries, provides analytics on what’s performing well, and includes integrated social media posting, letting them share new stock straight from Motoplus in seconds. Alongside this, we gave their website a complete visual refresh, making it more professional and easier to navigate.

The outcome
Motoplus transformed how McGarry Motors manages their stock, cutting listing time dramatically and giving them tools that used to be reserved for dealers paying premium platform fees. It’s changed the way they list cars for the better, and stands as the flagship example of what Motoplus can do for independent dealers.
